Nagaika Whip

The Nagaika is a short, thick whip with round cross-section, used by Cossacks of Russia, borrowed from the Nogai people, hence the original name 'nogaika' or 'Nogai's whip'.

This whip is made from braided leather strips, plaited with 8 strands, ended with a flat bag. The bag can be filled with lead, but this is not recommended for BDSM play.

The primary function of a nagaika was to urge a horse.
